What this site collects

Ask Matthew is an AI assistant. Conversations you have with it are recorded and stored for up to 90 days, then deleted automatically. We review them to find questions the bot answered poorly and to improve our content. Please don't include personal details like your full address, financial information, or anything about specific tenants in your questions.

We don't ask for or store your name, email, or account information to use the chat. For rate limiting we store a random browser identifier and a scrambled (hashed) version of your connection address. Neither can be traced back to you by us or anyone else.

The free book form

If you request the free book, the name, email, and mailing address you enter go directly from your browser to HubSpot, the customer platform Evernest uses, so we can send you the book and follow up. This site itself never stores that information. You can unsubscribe from any email we send.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We don't show ads. We don't use your conversations to train AI models; they only help us decide what content to create next.
